Purpose and Motto

The purpose of the Youth ARC•HIVE is to support the spiritual, mental, and emotional health of all local youth by providing a safe and clean place to socialize and engage in a variety of creative and educational activities under the supervision of mature adults. We exist to support the ongoing work of all local youth organizations that need a place to meet and play! Our aim is to speak truth into the lives of young people and enable others to do the same. The corporation's name may be understood as an acrostic: Youth Activity Resource Center • Hope, Integrity, Veritas, Education

It is in the basement of Palmer's historic Eagle Hotel. We are open for limited hours while the public gradually discovers us. We also seek adult mentors to help staff it. The more the merrier! Generally speaking, Saturdays are for 18-24yo's and weekdays are for 13-17yo's. There is flexibility for kids who bring their own adult buddy! The public is welcome to visit during these hours.

The HIVE seeks to support all existing youth missions and ministries of the MatSu Valley. Youth groups, education groups, clubs and homeschools can reserve and use any room and all of our materials are at your disposal. We're walking in faith ("If you build it, they will come!") and fine-tuning as we go.

If you wish to become a benefactor, we are a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization. If you want to reserve a room or the whole HIVE, the cost is $1 per person, per hour (or fraction thereof). Send Carol an E-mail.
